Saturday July 30 - Camp ends - We have some down time.

Greetings,
Camp has ended and it was a success. Many children that came repented and, a new Tomorrow club will be started next week Aug 6th. A Couple Highlights and prayer requests, the area in Zaporizhia Ukraine where the camp was held is inhabited by Gypsies and people with drug and alcohol addictions, please pray that new tomorrow club will be an outreach to the community and a tool to bring many to Christ. Pray particularly for the 6 older Gypsy girls, who came to the camp. They had a particular interest in English, and were open to the Gospel, pray that they would trust Christ through tomorrow clubs.

On a personal note please pray for us as today we board a train and go to Russia, the border crossing should be interesting. Pray that we would have a quick crossing and there wouldn’t be too many questions. Also pray about communication as we may not be able to post to this blog while in Russia. Pray for our health. Also pray for the portion of the team that is heading back to the U.S. tomorrow.

The last several days in Ukraine

Tuesday was American day, which means we had activities to help the children learn about the America culture. The children played wiffle ball, ate peanut and Jelly sandwiches, and had a history lesson about how the USA started. Over all it was a good day.

Wednesday was Ukrainian day, the children participated in activities to help them experience Ukrainian Culture, such as, traditional Ukrainian dance, games, food.

The heat has returned, on Wednesday the temperature was in the high to mid 90’s which makes everything a little more difficult. The forcast for Thursday is more of the same. Please pray for relief from the heat.

On a brighter note, in one of the classes 3 children prayed for repentance. Praise God for these souls! Thursday afternoon we will be showing part of the Jesus movie for Children in Russian. Please pray about this as there is a plan to call the children to repentance after the movie is shown. We covet your prayers as we continue to serve him this week and next week.
